SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit for a Compliance Officer for an established Financial Services Company based in Gibraltar with a global presence. This position of Compliance Officer is ideal for an individual with a Compliance background and experience of Financial Promotions, Policy Development and Audit. This is an exciting career opportunity for an ambitious Compliance Officer who is looking to develop and grow with an expanding business.
Compliance Officer Responsibilities:
* Assist Head of Risk and Compliance (HRC) with the development of internal policy and procedure including audit program
* Assist HRC with the monitoring of program partners to ensure compliance with regulatory and MasterCard/Visa rules
* Assist HRC with the effective maintenance of the internal risk management framework
* Conduct onsite visits/audits
* Reviewing and approving financial promotions
* Conducting KYC and KYB verification
* Reviewing suspicious/fraudulent activity, completion of SARs for submission to MLRO (HRC)
* Assist HRC with the regular review of internal fraud monitoring systems]
* Liaise effectively with other internal departments
* Liaise effectively with FSC and other local authorities
Compliance Officer Profile:
* Some knowledge and understanding of local AML legislation and requirements
* Good Level Excel skills
* Knowledge of payment industry would be helpful
* Keen to learn, will need to keep up with local and EU legislation
* Fraud experience is an asset
* Excellent communication skills
